Social Media Coordinator

We are seeking a full-time Social Media Coordinator to be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring Stand to Reason's content on social media channels.

As a Social Media Coordinator, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our organization’s views creatively. Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and follower engagement.

Stand to Reason trains Christians to think more clearly about their faith and to make an even-handed, incisive, yet gracious defense for classical Christianity and classical Christian values in the public square. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with organization goals
  • Publish, monitor and share engaging content daily (e.g. STR articles, podcasts, videos and events)
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness and name acquisition, i.e. campaigns, promotions and competitions
  • Attend events and produce live social media content
  • Collaborate with marketing team to maintain unified brand voice across all social media channels
  • Collaborate with marketing team to create a social media calendar
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
  • Set specific objectives and report on ROI
  • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics

  • Agreement with Stand to Reason’s statement of faith
  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Coordinator
  • Hands on experience in content management
  • Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools
  • Proficiency with photo editing tools, digital media formats, and HTML
  • Excellent social listening skills
  • Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
  • Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Excellent communication skills
  • BS degree in Marketing or relevant field
  • Must be able to work out of our office in Signal Hill, CA
