Best of Video Q&A Blogs 2011 Two Miracles: The Cross and Resurrection of Jesus Who's Waiting for Your Kids? DVD
Certain challenges to your Christian convictions come up with regularity. The ones you fear the most will be the ones that demand the most courage, and you may not feel up to the task. So make your job easier by taking the edge off the fear. Develop a good answer to the issue—one you can deliver in a tactically sound way (with a thoughtful opening question, for example)—and your courage will soar. You won’t fear the test because you’ll know the answers in advance.

One way we at STR have worked to make these challenges easier to address is through the Q&A videos on our blog. Each one is a short vignette—a brief but thoughtful reflection by Greg—providing useful information to encourage you in your role as an ambassador. We’ve collected the best of them on this DVD.
Nearly two thousand years ago, on a single weekend in the Jewish month of Nisan, two profound miracles occurred, the effects of which have reverberated throughout human history.  The first miracle no one saw, because it couldn't be seen except by God Himself.  The second miracle only a few saw, but multitudes actually experienced.

This was the week of Jesus' passion, the occasion of His miraculous death and resurrection.  If you've ever pondered the question of why Jesus came in the first place, this important new presentation will help elucidate the mystery, that the Son of God was "delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification."
This presentation will open your eyes to the reality of the secular college campus and its aggressive assault on the faith of our students. In addition, Brett will examine recent data suggesting our students are ill-equipped for such challenges and then discuss what we can do about it.
Credo: The Story of Reality Why I Am a Christian Shattering the Icons of Evolution DVD
Why I Am a Christian
DVD Video: $9.95
In this presentation, Greg narrates the Christian story—the Christian view of reality, or world view—in a way that is a refreshing in its simplicity and clarity. Greg describes the basic concepts that form the cornerstones of all world views, and the five simple words needed to outline the plot of the Christian account of reality. In this presentation, Brett examines the most common reasons Christians give for why they embrace Christianity, and then examines the primary reason why we ought to embrace Christianity: because Christianity is true. He clarifies this controversial claim and shows how the truth of religious claims must be grounded in reality. Naturally, such a claim is followed by questions of how we can know Christianity is true, so Brett sets out a cumulative case approach that takes into account the wealth of evidence for the Christian worldview. In assessing numerous evolutionary arguments for universal common descent, Tim finds that each falls into one of three categories: 1) exaggerated extrapolations, or the mistaken projection that if given enough time, the same processes that produce evidence of microevolution will produce macroevolution, 2) egregious errors, or evidence that has been shown to be false and outdated, and 3) equivocal evidence, or evidence that could just as easily be interpreted as proof of intelligent design.

Exaggerated extrapolations fail to provide the right kind of evidence, and egregious errors fail to provide the kind of evidence that is right. With these out of the way, the evolutionist is left with only equivocal evidence to make his case. And as Tim further explains, an intelligent designer is a better scientific explanation of both the irreducible complexity we see in certain biological features and the specified complexity we find in the diversity of life.
Witnessing to Jehovah's Witnesses No Other Name: Being Faithful to the Only Message That Saves Atheism: Bumping into Reality
Most Christians are ill-equipped to handle themselves in discussions with Jehovah's Witnesses. JW's seem to know their stuff while most Christians don't. Most Christians know what they believe, but don't know why they believe it. This is where this two-part series comes in; it answers the "why." Watch and listen as Tim Barnett graciously and respectfully walks through the reasons for believing that Jesus is Jehovah! "As a Christian, I believe that Jesus is the only way for me, but I can't say He is the way for others."

Statements like this have become increasingly common among Christians of all stripes. In both confessing Christ and retreating from the Gospel at the same time, these ambivalent confessions betray a deeply confused understanding of the Christian message.

In this talk, Greg exposes the error behind this relativistic religion, identifying and repudiating the three corrosive elements that prompt such confused confessions: theological uncertainty, religious pluralism, and Christian inclusivism.
The common worldview among atheists has a name—actually, a couple of names. It is variously called “physicalism,” “materialism,” or “naturalism,” and it’s a significant obstacle keeping many skeptics from taking Christianity seriously. But fortunately, we Christians have a powerful ally in our engagements with atheists: reality is on our side. In this presentation, Greg offers a critique of naturalism, developing three solid lines of reasoning to show naturalism’s inadequacy and Christianity’s superior “explanatory power” as a reliable guide to understanding the world.
The Columbo Tactic: How to Maneuver with Grace in Any Conversation The Heavens Declare the Glory of God Transgenderism: Truth and Compassion
Each of us as Christian ambassador face two daunting challenges when trying to make a difference for Christ. First, how do we initiate conversations about spiritual things in a way that doesn’t seem awkward. Second, how do we keep ourselves from getting trapped or overwhelmed by others more aggressive than we are?

In this presentation, Greg will teach you a two-step game plan allowing you to maneuver with confidence in any situation, no matter how little you know, and no matter how aggressive, powerful, or educated your opposition is. Columbo is the simplest tactic imaginable to help you stop a challenger in his tracks, turn the tables, and then get him thinkingall in a gracious and winsome way.
Is design in nature just an illusion? Is there anything special about Earth and the universe? Join Tim Barnett as he walks you through one of the greatest discoveries of modern physics and astronomy—the fine-tuning of the universe. Using the heroic, true story of the Apollo 13 space mission, Tim draws parallels to the “just right” conditions that are necessary for the astronauts aboard the Apollo 13 space shuttle to emphasize that our existence too is balanced on a razor's edge. Combining spectacular visuals and thorough knowledge of physics, this presentation is sure to have you echoing the words of the psalmist, “The heavens declare the glory of God.” More people are questioning whether to identify with the gender of their biological sex. This creates a lot of questions for Christians who desire to understand the truth and reach out with compassion. Alan will help demystify this new phenomenon by looking at what Scripture and science say about it and provide some biblical principles that can help navigate our relationships and guide our conversations in an uncompromising, yet compassionate way.

In this powerful presentation, Greg mounts a three-pronged defense of Christ's historicity.  First, he shows that Jesus of Nazareth was a real, flesh-and-blood human of history.  Second, he silences the charge that Jesus was a "recycled redeemer," one of many miracle-working, dying-and-rising messiahs of legend.  And finally, he demonstrates why professional historians consider the Gospel accounts reliable history. Mining for God's director Brandon McGuire grew up with a American view of Christianity. After college, though, he lived for three months in Africa where he saw a very different kind of Christianity. When he came back to America, he started to pay more attention to what people think about Christianity. As he asked questions, both online and on the street and it soon became apparent that people hold all manner of beliefs: Good people go to heaven; bad people end up in hell. All religions are basically the same. It's about rules. It's about controlling people. No religion can be the only way to God or spirituality. McGuire realized that this was an area of much confusion in America. So he set out to address it rationally. He began asking a number of questions in order to dig into the ideologies of our time. What is Christianity? What are some of the ideas that have influenced the way people think about it? Is there any evidence for God? If so, how can we know anything about who this God is? Is there such a thing as objective truth, or is truth relative to cultures? McGuire then turns an eye to the central event in the Christian narrative - the resurrection of Jesus Christ. After all, this claim - that Jesus of Nazareth rose from the dead - makes Christianity testable: Is there evidence for the resurrection? And if so how credible is it? He interviews a variety of people - people on the street, former atheists and former believers in other religions, along with some of the most seasoned Christian scholars making the case for Christianity today such as Lee Strobel, William Lane Craig, Gary Habermas, J Warner Wallace, Nabeel Qureshi, Paul Copan, and many more. The result of all of this inquiry is Mining for God, a one hour, expertly produced documentary that doesn't preach at anyone. Rather, it raises good questions and respectfully offers food for thought. For centuries, skeptics and seekers alike have pondered the star of Bethlehem. The Bible describes unusual or even impossible astronomical events at Christ's birth. Was it a miracle or mere myth? This compelling DVD--from producer Stephen McEveety ("The Passion of the Christ")--examines Scripture, ancient writings, indisputable astronomical facts and more. Learn nine specific features of the star recorded in the Gospel of Matthew and how it established a date for Jesus' birth and death.
The Future of Family: Homosexuality and Same-Sex Marriage DVD The Future of Faith: A Debate DVD Jesus: Fact or Fiction
Jesus: Fact or Fiction
DVD Video: $14.98
Few issues are riding the cultural wave as high as the question of same-sex marriage. Homosexual partners continue to vie for legitimacy by having their relationships sanctioned with the same privileges and protections afforded their heterosexual counterparts. But when challenged to defend the traditional view of marriage, too many Christians have little more to offer than "because the Bible tells me so." In this timely session, Greg presents several effective arguments in defense of one of the most embattled institutions of our time. Lee Strobel, from the foreward of Tactics:
Greg was simply so engaging and so effecting in poking holes in [New Age author Deepak] Chopra’s worldview that I had to keep the cameras running. Time after time, Greg was able to expose the faulty thinking underlying Chopra’s amorphous theology and correct his inaccurate claims about Jesus and the Bible. Before I knew it, we had consumed the entire hour of the show. Chopra—who was accustomed to spouting his opinions unchallenged on television and radio—was left thoroughly defeated and deflated.
Now more than ever people are asking hard questions about Christianity: Did Jesus really rise from the dead? Are the biblical accounts trustworthy?

Explore the evidence with experts Lee Strobel, Ravi Zacharias, Darrell Bock, William Dembski, Josh McDowell, and others. Together they tackle dozens of theological difficulties posed by skeptics--and offer compelling reasons for confident faith along with believers' testimonies. This DVD includes the famous Jesus film, starring Brian Deacon as Jesus and more than 4½ hours of special features.

Darwin's Dilemma: The Mystery of the Cambrian Fossil Record Metamorphosis: The Beauty and Design of Butterflies DVD Responding to Relativism
Responding to Relativism
DVD Video: $19.95
Darwin’s Dilemma explores the Cambrian explosion and the scientific controversy that still surrounds it. Where are the missing transitional forms that Darwin’s theory requires? Can any undirected evolutionary process explain the origin of animals?

Filmed on four continents, this fascinating documentary examines some of the most important fossil discoveries ever made, and with them, a mystery deeper than Darwin ever imagined. The Cambrian explosion was actually an explosion of biological information: assembly instructions in DNA and embryonic blueprints that directed the development of the first complex animals--information that points unmistakably to foresight, purpose and intelligent design.
Throughout history, butterflies have fascinated artists and philosophers, scientists and schoolchildren with their profound mystery and beauty. In Metamorphosis you will explore their remarkable world as few ever have before.

Spectacular photography, computer animation and magnetic resonance imaging open once hidden doors to every stage of a butterfly's life-cycle.
